My heritage is Italian, however more specifically, my heritage is San Donatese. My parents originate from a small southern Italian village called San Donato Di Ninea. The village itself is almost 1000 years old, and my entire family can be traced to this village. Like many Italian villages, food is the centrepiece of all celebrations.
