Chocolate Apricot Slice


The first time I tasted this was at Christmas 2008, and I had to have the recipe. Another from my mum-in-law's collection, I have made a few amendments, which she most ardently approved! This needs to be placed in the freezer or they evaporate very quickly.



Ingredients



1 packet yo-yo's, crushed
1 packet chocolate biscuits, crushed
200g dried apricots, diced finely
100g crushed peanuts
4oz (113g) melted butter
1 tin light condensed milk
2 x 375g dark cooking chocolate



Method



Add crushed yo-yo's, chocolate biscuits, dried apricots, peanuts, butter and condensed milk in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
Divide the mixture into half, and place in 2 slice pans.
Melt each block of chocolate and pour on the slice pan. Repeat with other block of chocolate.
Place slice pans in freezer for 2-4 hours. Cut in slices and place back in freezer.
